Over the last few years we all have been struggling with the current prices of gas and no vision of relief in sight. Many of us have been looking for ways to save money even a bit on the prices of gas to get to work, vacation, where ever they are traveling. Of all the Porsche’s, the Porsche 356 was the first production level model and it was sold from between 1948 and 1965. While the Porsche 64 was the first car to be actually produced by Porsche it was never meant for mass production and was strictly a test model. This test model was created by Ferdinand Porsche as well as his son Ferry Porsche and designed by Erwin Komenda. The features for this particular engine were gotten from that of the Volkswagen Beetle, which incidentally was designed by Ferdinand Porsche.

The offers for cash back, and some low interest financing rates keep reeling in the buyers and dealers are cashing in. Leasing has become a new trend and booming lifestyle choice of most consumers in recent years. Allowing much more freedoms then a buyer would normally have.

Ferdinand Porsche did not only play an essential role in the development of cars, he also played an essential role in the development of airplanes and the construction of tanks for the Wehrmacht as well. He was an automobile engineer who had an excess of a thousand patents registered in his name. He even had a history with famous car maker Mercedes Benz, having been appointed as chief engineer of the vehicle maker in Stuttgart in the 1920s. Later on he was to venture out on his own and start up his own engineering workshop where he continued in his innovative design in creating the Volkswagen. In the particular plant where the Volkswagen was created in Wolfsburg, he was made chief of operations which may have led to his internment by the Allied Forces at the end of the war.

In North America they choose to use diesel engines only in larger trucks giving the truck’s engine a longer life and much lower costs to operate. Where two stroke diesels that have high pressure and turbo charging make up the larger more efficient engines. Uses of these engines are great for commercial use in the heavy hauls.

Since motor vehicles can be very prone to accidents resulting in damage to vehicles that must be repaired and injuries to drivers and passengers that have to be medically treated and also sometimes deaths that require compensation payments or at the very minimum hospital bills payments, as a precaution not to overburden the vehicle owner, auto insurance is very necessary. In fact many countries have made it legally compulsory to insure automobiles before they are allowed to drive on the roads and highways.
